I grew up in Blowing Rock and Boone, NC and, after residing out of the area for 16 years, returned in the summer of 2006 to live in the peaceful surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mountains. My professional experience in wellness counseling ranges from working with cardiac rehabilitation patients to counseling individuals and groups in weight and stress management and lifestyle change at medical and fitness facilities. I have a BS in Health Fitness as well as a degree in Theology and hold certifications as a Certified LifeStyle Counselor and a Certified Wellness Inventory Coach. My passion is working with individuals as they find their own personalized path to wellness -- partnering together to develop and reach attainable, realistic, balanced, wellness goals.
